Company leads
The 🎯 Leads tab is where you run a Company’s lead-gen autopilot. You set up the hunt, review the leads it finds, approve every message before it goes out, and see replies and results.
How to get here
Open a Company from Companies, then click 🎯 Leads in the ▶️ Run it group of the Company profile. A Company that isn’t set up yet opens on ⚙ Setup.
Once it’s set up, a line next to the sub-tabs tells you where the researcher runs (“on this machine” or “on a remote machine”). It also reminds you that drafts need your approval.
📊 Pipeline
The dashboard:
- Leads, New (7 d), Sent (7 d) and Reply rate (leads who answered ÷ leads contacted);
- To approve, Queued, In sequences, Won and Open tenders (with how many close within 14 days);
- AI cost (30 d), Cost / lead and Cost / client;
- the leads per stage, and replies per category.
📬 Sending health shows today’s e-mails against the warm-up limit and lets you change the warm-up: Start with a number per day, + a number each day, up to a maximum. It also checks your sending domain’s SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records and tells you how to fix anything missing.
✨ Signups, purchases & forms in gives you the event URL for your website, a Stripe webhook or a form tool.
📋 Leads
The spreadsheet. The tab shows how many leads there are.
- Edit cells in place, Search…, filter by status and region, and approve or reject leads in bulk.
- Approving a lead lets the copywriter draft for it.
- Tender leads show the days left until their deadline, “due today” or “closed”.
- ⬇ Excel and ⬇ CSV export the sheet. ⬇ CRM… gives a HubSpot CSV or Pipedrive CSV in the column layout their importers map automatically.
- Google Sheets — two-way. Deploy the Apps Script shown in the panel on your sheet, paste its
/execURL and the secret, then Save and Sync now. The app writes the spreadsheet to your sheet every 10 minutes and reads back Status and Notes, so you can approve leads from the sheet too.
Lead statuses: new, qualified, approved, rejected, contacted, replied, bidding, won, lost, unsubscribed and bounced.
📨 Outbox
Every draft waits here for your click. Filter by To review, Queued, Bids, letters & posts in progress, Sent or All. You can edit a draft’s recipient, subject and text before you approve it, and Save edits keeps changes without approving.
| Draft | Approve | Then |
|---|---|---|
| ✓ Approve & send | Sent, or queued if today’s warm-up limit is reached. | |
| ✉️ Letter | ✓ Approve & print letter | The letter opens for printing. 🖨 Open letter and 📮 Mark posted. |
| 📣 Post | ✓ Approve & copy | The text is copied. Publish it yourself, then ✓ Mark published. |
| 🏛 Bid plan | ✓ Go — we bid | 📄 Open tender, and ✓ Bid submitted once you’ve submitted it. |
✕ Reject (or ✕ No bid for a bid plan) turns a draft down. Nothing is sent without your click, here or from your phone with the phone console.
💬 Replies
Answers from leads, read from the Company’s e-mail inbox and classified: 🔥 interested, 💬 reply, ⏳ not now, 🏖 out of office, 🚫 unsubscribe or ↩️ bounce. A reply stops the lead’s sequence. Mark each one ✓ Handled when you’ve dealt with it, or ↺ Reopen it.
Leads never get an automatic answer.
🔁 Sequences
Follow-up plans. Each sequence has a type: outreach (cold, after the first message), onboarding (after a signup, purchase or form event) or nurture (manual). Edit a sequence to change its steps: each step has a delay (+ … days), a channel (e-mail or letter) and a brief for the copywriter. + Step adds one.
Below, you see who is on which step. Leads join when their first message is sent.
📰 Campaigns
Newsletters and announcements to a segment. Give the campaign an internal name and a subject, then choose To leads who are: a status, and optionally a tag. You approve a campaign once, and its copies then join the send queue under the warm-up limit. Unsubscribed and bounced contacts are always left out.
🌐 Sources
The learning source registry. The table lists each source with its Kind, Status (🟢 active, 🟡 probation or ⚪ retired), Runs, Items (results returned), Leads, Score, Last run, Next visit and Last error. Filter by status, and press ↻ Refresh. The tab also refreshes itself every 30 seconds, so results from a VPS appear as they sync back.
| Kind | Source |

| 💼 jobs | the German job board (Bundesagentur Jobsuche): companies hiring for what you sell |
| 📰 news | news mentions (Google News, DE/AT/CH): funding, expansion, new sites, relaunches |
| 📡 feed | any portal’s RSS/Atom feed you add in Setup |
| 🗺 directory | OpenStreetMap businesses with address. A country-wide source scans one large city per run, in rotation |
| 🏛 tenders | EU public tenders (TED) for DE/AT/CH |
| 💬 forum / 🐘 social | Hacker News, GitHub issues, Stack Overflow, Mastodon hashtags |
⚙ Setup
The ideal-customer profile. Start from an example (Software / app agency, Craft business (Handwerk) or Consulting / coaching), or fill in:
- what the Company sells, and who an ideal lead is;
- Search phrases (German + English), Regions, OpenStreetMap business categories and Mastodon hashtags;
- 💼 Watch the German job board and 📰 Watch the news (both on by default);
- Portals & feeds to watch: one RSS/Atom URL per line, for example job or project portals, regional news, or IHK and association feeds. Each feed becomes a source;
- Content calendar — platforms (leave empty for no Content Marketer);
- Not a lead: who to exclude, such as competitors;
- Your signature / sender, used in e-mails and letters;
- New qualified leads per day (target);
- Where does the hunting run 24/7?: This machine (only while it’s on) or a paired machine.
Click 🎯 Start lead hunting the first time, or Save & update hunting later. The first run starts at the next 2-hour mark.
When you pick a paired machine, saving switches auto-sync to that machine on and sends the workers, routines and sources straight away. Leads, drafts and source results sync back. The box under the form shows the researcher’s model and its last run. The line under the sub-tabs shows the same, and a warning if auto-sync to the hunting machine is off.
Which AI model does the researcher use?
The researcher uses the model it was created with: your default worker model at setup time. You can see it in Setup, and change it on the worker’s profile. A hunt that runs on a VPS uses that VPS’s provider keys. If the VPS has no key for that provider, the hunt runs on the VPS’s own default model instead of failing; the run log notes which one. To choose exactly, add the provider key on the VPS (Fleet → 🔑 Keys), or give the worker a model the VPS has.
In practice
Sources stuck at 0 runs? Check the line under the sub-tabs:
- “auto-sync … is off”: press Save & update hunting in Setup.
- “no run reported yet” after more than 2 hours: open Fleet and check the machine is online and licensed.
- A source with an error in Last error retries automatically. After 6 failed runs it retires.
Pin the hunt to a VPS. On a laptop, the researcher only runs while it’s awake. A paired runner hunts around the clock, and the leads and drafts sync back for you to review.
Approve leads before you expect drafts. The copywriter only drafts for approved leads. An empty Outbox usually means nobody has been approved yet.
Watch Sending health in the first weeks. Keep the warm-up modest and fix any missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC record before you approve many e-mails.
